Back to the Future: The 53rd Annual Conference of the Canadian Association for Information Science
Registration to the CAIS conference is now open! The 53rd annual conference of CAIS, themed Back to the Future is occurring in hybrid format, May 27-29th, 2025. Join us virtually or in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where the conference will be hosted by Dalhousie University’s Department of Information Science.
We are delighted to announce that Emily Drabinski, Associate Professor at the Queens College (CUNY) Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, will deliver the keynote address “Libraries at the End of the World”. Her work focuses on critical perspectives in librarianship, including knowledge organization and information literacy and instruction. Drabinski is the immediate past president of the American Library Association.
